2025-11-11 10:37:34The "Santiago group" from the Trujillo association completed the Barbanza-A Orixe route with 18 participants, an experience marked by camaraderie and the values of the Camino.
The Trujillo en Marcha group has completed the Barbanza-A Orixe route, which begins at the Corrubedo Lighthouse and leads to the Plaza del Obradoiro in Santiago de Compostela. The expedition, made up of 18 pilgrims, highlighted the beauty of the route and the excellent camaraderie experienced throughout all the stages.
The group's journey dates back to 2002, the year they began their pilgrimages along the main Camino de Santiago routes, with the only pause being due to the pandemic. Since then, they have added traditional routes and historical variations, keeping the Jacobean spirit alive.
“The Camino de Santiago is about solidarity, sharing, gratitude, time for reflection and feeling” emphasizes the organization, which especially values the warm welcome in the towns and villages along the route and the diverse landscapes of the Barbanza region, from the coastal area of Corrubedo to the arrival in the heart of Santiago de Compostela.
With this new experience, Trujillo en Marcha reaffirms its commitment to the cultural and spiritual heritage of the Camino, as well as to promoting responsible tourism that respects the environment and local communities.
