The 9th edition of the Congalsa Solidarity Walk will depart from the Aguiño fish market on April 6

The Congalsa Solidarity Walk, now in its ninth edition, now has a date after having to be postponed due to adverse weather conditions. The event, open to all who wish to join, will depart from the Aguiño fish market on April 6.

Those interested in participating and, in doing so, supporting a good cause can register through the Congalsa and Deporticket websites. Those who wish to participate but cannot attend the event have the alternative of doing so through bib 0.

The established financial contribution is four euros and, in addition, each attendee must deliver at least one kilo or one liter of non-perishable food.

The start is set for nine thirty in the morning. The route is ten kilometers long and is designed to be accessible to people of all ages. Congalsa's head of external relations, Ana Garrido, commented that "with this walk we want to give our support to those who need it most, collaborating with initiatives in the region that work to provide social support to groups, individuals and families at risk of social exclusion".

Ana Garrido also expressed her gratitude to the Ribeira Council and the A Orixe Association for their collaboration in the organizational field.
