Pilgrims of Carreira on the A Orixe Way

The good weather accompanied two groups of pilgrims from the Asociación de Veciños de Carreira who this Sunday started the first stage of the Camino A Orixe at the Corrubedo lighthouse, which will take them to Santiago.

From the group promoting this Jacobean route, they trust that this year the number of pilgrims traveling through the region will double, as there is a tour operator organizing several excursions for visitors, mainly from Andalusia and Madrid, joining several religious groups who will repeat the experience.
