2026-05-18 14:54:20Last Thursday, May 14, the exhibition hall of the Monastery of San Martín Pinario, in Santiago de Compostela, hosted the opening of the exhibition entitled “Culto e cultura xacobea no Barbanza e Sar”. This is an informative initiative promoted by the Association Amigos do Camiño de Santiago do Barbanza e Sar. A Orixe.
The event was attended by the Archbishop of Santiago, Monsignor Francisco José Prieto Fernández, along with other authorities and institutional and cultural representatives, as well as people linked to the cultural and Jacobean project.
The exhibition is curated by Antonio González Millán and brings together a collection of photographs by photographer Adolfo Enríquez. The images create a visual journey along the Jacobean route known as “A Orixe”, a project on which the association has been working since 2017 with the aim of identifying, restoring, and improving the ancient Camino de Santiago route on the Barbanza peninsula.
