Housewives from Ribeira begin the Camino

The Ribeira Housewives Association has proposed a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela doing the “A Orixe” path. This morning they began the first stage that runs between the Corrubedo Lighthouse and the La Guía Chapel in the Carreira Parish. They carried out the stage accompanied by members of the Asociación Amigos do Camiño do Barbanza A Orixe, who explained the main points of interest of the different stages and also took the opportunity to highlight the region.

Every Sunday each of the stages will be done until reaching the Galician capital, in the latter the participants will attend the pilgrim mass. At the end it will be completed with a fellowship meal, where the members of the Association will present them with the corresponding Compostelas and thus put an end to an emotional and enriching journey.
