2026-05-26 15:03:55About 350 people took part this Sunday in the 10th Congalsa Solidarity Walk, held in A Pobra and marked by hot weather. Participants donated non-perishable food items when collecting their race numbers, which will go to several social organizations.
The walk followed part of the A Orixe Camino de Santiago route, with a coastal journey of around ten kilometers passing through several beaches and natural areas of the municipality. Amicos users collaborated in distributing T-shirts.
The proceeds from the activity will be donated to the Red Cross, Cáritas, ICE Renovación, and the fishermen’s guild of A Pobra. Luis Miguel Simarro positively assessed the participants’ response, highlighting the solidarity, sporting, and social nature of the initiative.
