A family-oriented pilgrimage along the Camino A Orixe
2026-04-11 23:31:09For nine years, the organization Aspas de Santiago, dedicated to providing support to people with intellectual disabilities, has been carrying out pilgrimage routes. It was an initiative by families, born when the organization was celebrating its half-century of existence. Walking the Camino is more than completing a route; it is an experience to share and live together.
Until May 31, with routes of around twenty kilometers, the large Aspas family will complete the A Orixe route to Compostela. They began this Saturday from the port of Corrubedo with 70 people, but Javier García comments that in the different stages they will mobilize up to 150.
